Osho offered Zorba the Buddha to the world!
Dawn of a new Human Being!
Joyful, Grounded, Conscious and Free — who lives in the world with Awareness, in Meditation without escaping Life.
Osho categorically says, time for the new human being has arrived! He is free to live freely! If he wishes to. The way is clear.
He has to embrace his Self! In entirety! Stop all conflicts. Within. Accept paradoxes of perception in the mind. Allow experimenting, exploring and entering new realms. Of Freedom, Awareness, Meditation.
☀️
Past is Important! In avoiding mistakes.
Past is Irrelevant! It does not exist.
If you observe the human being, he lives with ideologies thrusted upon him. He believes rather than finding out — on his own.
The four major contributors to his ideologies are: Parents, Professors, Preachers, Partners.
All sourcing from past tendencies.
Past is full of knowledge, fear, half-baked truths and malices. To entrap the human being. Into a cage. Which makes him conduct life like a robot. Mechanical. Certain. With preset filters. Assuming that will help with growth.
Past is helpful. It has stored impressions to avoid harm. Lessons learned. Feelings to ignore. Fears to avoid.
Human being has a conundrum to solve.
How does he make use of past impressions to avoid repetitive behaviors and mistakes, while ignoring the same impressions to create profound experiences beyond past.
Once this is ascertained, human beings can balance their life. They don’t have to divide thoughts and miss Unified experiences of life.
Material versus Spiritual Dichotomy
It is common to think spiritual seeking is for ascetics. Or for unproductive elderly. Or for the irresponsible and lazy.
It is common to think material challenges and aspirations is a human being’s holy grail. He can spend an entire lifetime chasing them. Assuming it will bring fulfillment and satisfaction.
Both thoughts are Partial Truths. Dangerous!
A human is endowed with memories of past to conduct survival, and potential to evolve beyond limitations of survival.
This is not a contradiction but natural design of existence.
Example: You are employed in a company. Your daily routine demands finishing the job. Your intelligence demands developing skills beyond daily grind to fulfill your potential. Take higher responsibilities. Furthering ambitions and successes. Your professional growth is a mix of fulfilling your present role while enhancing skills to grow beyond. There is no contradiction. The underlying human has the need to stay rooted and fly in sky. They are not two separate things.
Existentially, it is the same. A human being earns his living using the mind and body. To take care of survival. Simultaneously, his intelligence pushes him to seek Consciousness. To break from experiencing life beyond limitations of mind and body. That is the human Prerogative and Potential. It is the underlying need of human being to be Stable and Expand. There is no contradiction. No paradox.
A human being complicates matters. He perceives his innate needs of materialistic success and spiritual seeking as a contradiction. Opposite forces which cannot be sorted together.
This is the primordial misperception which he suffers in life. He wastes time assuming once his materialistic successes are fulfilled, only then he can start spiritual seeking.
A Colossal Mistake!
Such things have never happened to anyone. These two needs are inherently bundled within the human system. If he looks at them separately, he is — wasting time, remains with distorted perception and never takes leaps in evolving.
He comes prepackaged with these possibilities. It is for him to recognize its intertwining nature. It is not a Contradiction, but an immediate possibility of expansion while securing the base. This is how universe expands naturally. This is how humans can expand organically.
Human mind cannot perceive the whole. It divides. Missing portion of truth. That is why the dichotomy. In reality, the dichotomy does not exist. Nature has left for the human being to decipher this existential truth.
The sooner he realizes the limited perception of mind, and observes with keenness of attention to see the whole, he advances on his journey towards freedom. Until then, he remains attracted to his shackles, which look shiny and enticing, but is a trap!
Zorba the Buddha
Arth had crossed the final barrier. He was tired. Droplets of sweat were traversing his spine. It was cold outside. He was warm inside.
At 8000 feet, under open skies, cool breeze, abundant sunlight, snow capped mountains in front. He stopped, put his hiking pole on the green ground, unzipped his backpack and sipped water. A spoon of electrolytes made it tasty.
He was used to hiking in hills. He did it often during spring and autumn. He was alone this time. It was not a hard trek. It was refreshing. To be immersed in elements. Soaking in sun, breeze, space, moisture and treading gently. It was his favorite activity.
He was approaching the summit. Maybe another fifteen minutes. He checked his phone. The network was strong. He was not surprised. He had to make a work call. It was Thursday afternoon. It would be morning in Dubai. His client was expecting a response to their query.
He arranged himself on the ground. Spread his legs. Booted the laptop. Reviewed the top three points he wanted to share. The client had requested his view on geopolitical changes and whether they should amend the portfolio. They wanted to know if they should buy more gold and silver, given central banks of big nations were accumulating.
Arth called exactly at 1 PM. The client picked up immediately. After pleasantries, Arth got them focused on his view and suggestions on the three concise points. He valued time. He always prepared before meetings.
Geopolitical changes are rampant as world moves into multipolarity. It may create more volatility in portfolio possibly for few more years. With US marquee index hovering all time high, gold near $5K, silver crossing $100, bond yields showing strength, DXY index at a five-month low, it could be a melt up or slow down.
Gold and Silver ETFs have done well. Its volatility may align with equity during downturn, and he wanted them to focus on physical gold for store of value and silver for trading, if necessary. He emphasized historically gold had been the only currency, last 500 years were an aberration.
The commodity cycle had just begun and possibly should be the high growth factor exposure to their portfolio. He felt, in multipolarity, core sectors, including manufacturing, defense, agriculture, space, logistics etc. can lead economic activities and portfolio’s growth should follow the trajectory.
After further discussions on portfolio changes and clearing pending payments, Arth promised to send them a note on portfolio reconstruction next week for review. He agreed to send them few charts for study.
Arth closed the laptop. Sat quietly. Looked around. He was immersed in the elements. Surrounded by beauty of hills, sky, space, and Emptiness. He was Alone. It was a popular trek, but he had picked the time when few hiked.
It was perfect. He was home. His heartbeat had settled. Perspiration stopped. The cool draft gave shivers. He liked that. It was serene. He was at peace.
He opened his yoga mat and sat crossed legged. His left boot heel touching the perineum. Spine straight. Comfortably. Head and Ears protected. Sunglasses off. Eyes closed.
He gently pressed the thumb and index finger. Remaining fingers together touching each other. Slightly tilted his head, gently focusing in between eyebrows. Without effort. In ease.
His breath was happening. A silent transpiring between body and existence. An experience of Oneness. Amongst external emptiness.
He could feel everything around him. From within. There was no urge to open eyes to see the beauty. He was imbibing. The sensations were pulsating. He had become One.
He opened his eyes. Gently. He felt he had closed them for twenty minutes. It was 3:30. He had been meditating for two hours. He recalled his client discussion. He had another fifteen minutes to summit.
He packed his yoga mat, drank few sips of water and headed to the top. Quietly. Without disturbing anyone. Or himself. He would descend soon and reach base camp to watch an overwhelming sunset at 6:00.

It is for every human being to understand the significance of what Osho defines —Zorba the Buddha!
It’s time has come. Arth was demonstrating it. Many need to follow. Not Arth. But deepening the understanding of what it means.
Zorba the Buddha is the new human being. Who stays Centered. He acknowledges his needs of Stability and Expansion. Simultaneously. Without contradiction. His survival is important, so is his Liberation.
He facilitates both. Without hesitation. With planning. Grateful for the time available to experience beauty. On inside and outside. Before death.
He also knows the world has entered multipolarity. Humans have to redesign their lives. Away from archaic models of jobbing. Into dynamic models of enterprising. Competing with robots and artificial intelligence. Using natural intelligence endowed by Nature!
Zorba the Buddha is the centered path — humanity had been awaiting!
It has arrived!
Are you going to walk freely to consciously craft your future, or keep dragging with the past?
It is a Choice!
